I had a SSH server (version 2.5p1 from source) on a Linux Redhat 6.2
box. It worked fine when we had it setup in the normal network. However,
when we moved it into the DMZ, the connection works up to the point
directly after password authentication. We have the SSH serrvice turned
on for access inside the internal firewall and I do get partially
connected. Here is the -v output after password is put in:
debug: channel 0: new [client-session]
debug: send channel open 0
debug: Entering interactive session.
debug: client_init id 0 arg 0
debug: channel request 0: shell
debug: channel 0: open confirm rwindow 0 rmax 16384
Does SSHD negotiate another port after the initial connection on port
22? If so, how do you connect when the box is in a DMZ?
