Hi ,
can anyone explain to me how ssh resolves hostnames as I am
currently having a problem getting it
to work. The situation is this. I have an ldap server serving out
hostnames and usernames. I can telnet
to any machine in the server directory and login as any user in the
directory. However if I use ssh it
will not resolve the hostname from ldap but if I give the IP address
instead it will work and I can use any username in the directory.
