I'm using a Win9x terminal emulator called QvtTerm 5.0 from www.qpc.com which supports SSH1 only. I'm trying to connect to our RH 7 box which is running OpenSSH_2.3.0p, but when i try to connect all i get is a message back from the linux box saying... "SSH-1.99-OpenSSH_2.3.0p1" but never get a login prompt. I suspect the fix here is a minor tweak in sshd_config to permit SSH1 connections.
