Install Problem with AIX 4.1.5

I get the following error when running make.  I am trying
to install openssh 2.5.5p2 on AIX 4.1.5.

"sftp-glob.h", line 31.15: 1506-120 (S) Function cannot return a const
qualified type.
make: *** [sftp-int.o] Error 1

I am using gnu make.  I have been able to install openssh on AIX 4.2.

Anybody been successful installing on AIX 4.1.5?
