Hello all,
         I have a strange X11 forwarding problem ... on my Windows 2000
machine, I am
running Exceed. From my Linux box (mandrake 7.x with openssh-2.3.0p1) I
can run
netscape -display x.x.x.x:0.0 and netscape appears on my w2k machine, so
the X server
is good there. If I run Secure-Crt 3.0.1 with X11-forwarding on, this also
works. If I run
Secure CRT 3.3 and run netscape I get:

X connection to thematrix.harvard.edu:10.0 broken (explicit kill or server
shutdown).

If I run ssh.com 2.4.0 from the command line in verbose mode, I get:

[mcormier@hostname ~]$ netscape &
[1] 2495
[mcormier@hostname ~]$ debug: Ssh2Common/sshcommon.c:704: num_channels now 2
warning: X11 connection requests different authentication protocol:
'MIT-MAGIC-C
OOKIE-1' vs. ''.
debug: ssh_stream_filter_callback: DISCONNECTED
debug: Ssh2Common/sshcommon.c:678: num_channels now 1
warning: X11 connection requests different authentication protocol:
'MIT-MAGIC-C
OOKIE-1' vs. ''.
X connection to hostname.domain.name:11.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutd
own).

So, has anyone ever seen this? Incidentally, it doesn't matter if
I change my
$XAUTHORITY to /tmp/ssh-*/cookies, and I am pretty sure wrappers are not a
problem,
since I can get the damn thing to work under SecureCRT 3.0.1.

-Anyone up for the challenge?
-Thanks in advance
