This has been discussed before, around April 20-29
I think. From what I remember, the process that was
launched on the remote side was still holding on to
stdout and kept it open indefinitely, so the child
ssh daemon won't close the connection.
Someone also said that this problem has been fixed
in version 2.3.0p2, but this bug seems to be
re-introduced in the succeeding releases.
I'm using Linux on two machines and I get this problem
fairly often (when I'm logged on for more than 6
hours continuously).
