Hello I have openssh installed on my mdk8 linux machine, can you tell me if it is possible to use the "ssh" client program to connect through my SOCKS4 proxy/firewall machine? I have read the man pages and also checked the www.openssh.org site but could not find any info I also searched all over the internet and could not find you much on the subject. I found one email with /etc/libsocks5.conf but i do not have this file i checked /etc/sshd and ~/.ssh/ but no way to add options there atm I am resorting to using a windows ssh client to get through the firwall any help appreciated.
