Hi, I need help. When I use scp to transfer files between computers the copy is encrypted/encoded/or something because it becomes unusable. for example, I have a text file on one computer, I use scp to copy it onto a remote computer. When I try to open up the text file on the remote computer, Linux does not recognize it as a text file, nor do any programs. anybody got any ideas/suggestions as to how I can fix this? Thanks.
