I'm Vanni , and i am an italian student .
I'm using ApacheSSL with SSleay-0.6.6 .
I have a problem . I want to abilitate client authentication .
In httpd.conf file there is this variable
SSLVerifyClient
if i set SSLVerifyClient = 0 ( no certificate is required ) everithing
is O.K.
But if I set SSLVerifyClient = 2 ( client must present a valid
certificate ) my browser tell me :
Netscape is unable to communicate securely whit this site
because the server's cerificate was rejected.
WHY ??
My apache-ssl web server has its own certificate issued by a CA , that
is the same that issued my client certificate .
My client recognize the server , but the server isn't able to process
the client authentication .
This is my problem , have you any idea .
