Hi,
I am going to build SSL into some proprietary systems that a
client has already developed (non HTTP). The systems involved are a variety
of Unix platforms (Sun, AIX, and HP) and NT.
Before I start this, I have a non-technical question: Costs and licenses
For NT, the security services should already have everything needed, right?
After that, I am going to have to buy either SSLeay (can I use this commercially?)
or BSAFE.
Certs from Verisign are a pretty straightforward requirement.
I expect that they are going to try and re-sell the system, so I can't
rely on the non-commercial licenses for anything.
All of you who have already gone this path, any hints for my firsts steps
will be most appreciated.
Thanks
Charles
