   I'm afraid not Gary.  The truckers use denatured alcohol to remove water
from Diesel fuel so once alcohol takes on water you're out of luck.  If its
ethanol or isopropyl, you can use it for rubbing alcohol (30% water).
    Alcohol forms a solution with water that is not separable (unless you
want to distill it off but that's not for the home workshop).  Water sinks
to the bottom of diesel tanks and the alcohol combines with it and the
diesel fuel and is burned in the diesel engine
