The "Project Book" is published by the Gauge 1 Model Railway Ass. in
England. Upon receipt of 1st years membership payment they send you a copy
of the book as well as their quarterly newsletter(magazine). Its a model of
an 0-6-0 English tank engine, single inside cylinder, but it's designed as a
beginning machinist project to get people into the hobby. A cottage
industry has sprung up around the project with suppliers offering kits,
machined parts, castings, etc. Pretty neat if you like the lines of the
engine. You can buy the book direct, it'll probably be about $15-$18 with
postage. Bob Paule may have copies @ Sulphur Springs Models.
