I came across this website http://www.dnaco.net/~gelwood/index.html while searching through this site http://www.northeast.railfan.net/steam5.html. The first site contains over 25,000 pictures of locomotives, rolling stock and railroad buildings from US railroads (diesel and steam), present and fallen flags, as well as tons of maps and text material on railroad operations, operating rules, wrecks, etc. with lots of links to other RR sites. I found the link to railroad wrecks very interesting. They have full text of ICC accident reports including Steam boiler explosions. They even have information on what model manufacturers build models for each RR. For anyone looking for information on prototypes of locomotives and rolling stock, these two sites are MUST SEE.
