     The first site contains over 25,000 pictures of locomotives, rolling
stock and railroad buildings from US railroads (diesel and steam), present
and fallen flags, as well as tons of maps and text material on railroad
operations, operating rules, wrecks, etc. with lots of links to other RR
sites. I found the link to railroad wrecks very interesting. They have full
text of  ICC accident reports including Steam boiler explosions.
     They even have information on what model manufacturers build models for
each RR.
     For anyone looking for information on prototypes of locomotives and
rolling stock, these two sites are MUST SEE.
