The new C-16 "Bumblebee" from Accucraft and the new "Forney" from Roundhouse Engineering were certainly the stars of the HSSLS (Houston Small Scale Live Steamers) International Steamup (two mates from London, England area) held March 31 in San Marcos, Texas. Everybody who saw or heard about the Bumblebee at Diamondhead held their collective breath -- but, the engine looked superb and ran flawlessly 5 or 6 times. The performance of the Forney was as expected from Roundhouse -- looked great and ran "right out of the box" like a Swiss watch.
