Gosh Walt,
Why on earth would your rail not hold up to a gas line explosion?
After all this rail is supposed to survive out door elements. Natural gas
is a natural outdoor element.
All kidding aside, did anyone get video of this spectacular upheaval?

So, Nickle Silver rail has enough variables to make some cave in to
acid rain (how about acid soils?) while other metal mixes endure.

I am sure Aristo Craft will eventually figure things out. Meanwhile, I am
stuck with a tunnel ready for track leading to the new short line run. Hard
to continue without a bender. AC wants me to send them more rail I have here
that did not work. I already shipped the bender with rail inserted in the
bender.
They lost that rail section. After all my piece or rail would look like any
other
rail they have available.

I have not heard of any pitting in my original 332 rail, and there was an
extensive layout in the LA area, although some was destroyed by a "volcanic
eruption" when a gas line going to a scale volcano developed a leak and the
accumulated gas exploded and did some extensive damage to the layout and the

side of the house facing the layout.

Keep your steam up!
Walt
