I was down at the Wood stove store today looking at stoves. I noticed spools of different sizes of material that looked like fiberglass or asbestos yarn . I asked about them and what it is used for and was informed that it was used for the gaskets on the wood stoves that they sell . I looked promising for meth wicks Sizes from 1/4 to almost 1 inch .There were even a few that were woven with a fine wire mesh on the outside .
