Wasn't there a plan (or a kit) put out by Bayou Ltd. a while back for a 2-6-2? Aside from that, I don't think there were ever any "commercial" kits for building something from the Roundhouse boiler and chassis.
There are the usual suppliers of brass detail parts, (Trackside Details, Accucraft, Precision Scale). Unfortunately, only Accucraft has a website that I know of. They should be able to supply any brass detail fittings that you would want. I don't know if this helps at all, but perhaps it will jar someone else's memory. Later, K
