Tony Dixon's various UK-built coal fired locos seem to stay put on a wide variety of track types and conditions at high speed (those on the West Coast know of Tony's penchant for "scale" 200 mph operation). They seem to have reasonable flange sizes and tire widths. Of course there was the unfortunate excursion into the shrubbery at Jon Bloom's......!
