The National Transportation Safety Board experimented with "cockpit recorders" in autos, in an effort to determine the most common causes of fatal accidents, and perhaps diminish them. On analysis of the test samples, the most commonly heard phrase in fatal accidents was "Oh $#!+!" or some close variant. Except in Texas, where the most commonly heard phrase was "Hey, y'all, watch this!" -vance- (born and raised in Midland, Texas, where much of his youth was spent trying to stay out of the way of these types)
