Haven't heard of "Duplicolor". these available at car parts stores ?
And sanding with fine grit sandpaper is a great way to get tooth, but it isn't practical on castings and other fabricated parts. Hence my quest for non-mechanical means of achieving tooth. What would be great is a more durable form of "brass black".
