Ah drat!  I forgot about that awful screw connector end that comes with the
Aster pump.  Perhaps buying a few bottle pumps is better.  If you get a bad
bottle or two, then just buy another one and it might be the one that is
manufactured well.  Or cut off the screw end and crimp on the hose size
required for your Goodall fitting.  Why hasn't a steam fitting been made
that works like a bicycle pump for high pressure tires?  They hold over 100
psi without a problem and clamp on the tire valve.  Seems a similar fitting
could be very handy for our little dragons.

I also found a Oil Can from Harbor Freight worked great until it discovered
that I was pumping water instead of oil!


|   BTW, What fitting do you use on the Aster pump hose to connect to your
locos?
