I would like to change D-Bus interface for domains so it takes advantage of
the new sbus features. It is similar to users and groups. The old methods
should be deprecated.
It is something we should do to have a consistent interface and we should do
it rather sooner then later since we don't have many consumers at this
moment.
Does anyone use this interface?
OpenLMI and adelton uses it, I think.
If yes, then we can't just change the interface, but we can introduce the
new one in parallel in this release, mark the old as deprecated and then
remove the old one in the next release.
Yes, I want thinking of deprecating the old one.
It would also be not welcome by consumers to change the API because the
new one is nicer, we should provide patches ourselves for those
projects.
