I'm no expert but wouldn't be better to copy and run the root or a minimal base system on a memory fs/disk copied from network? That way you'd have basic functionality even if you experience a network glitch, giving you a chance to recover. I would assume it'd be easier to debug stuff too. I don't know how to do that though. -- Tuomo
