(cc-ed) noticed that pulseaudio's "mute" feature had no effect. This was a regression: v3.2.6 reproduced the bug, while v3.1.8 did not. Testing[1]: Applying the patch to v3.2.6 fixed it: Tested-by: S. G. <[email protected]> # 3.2.y, CX20561 on ThinkPad T500 Applicability: Patch applies to 3.2.y. Earlier kernels don't need it.
