This issue is described in the STAF User's Guide section "3.15 Operating
System Library Compatability (Linux)"
(http://staf.sourceforge.net/current/STAFUG.htm#HDROSCOMPATIBILITY) and

[staf-users] Error starting STAF on Suse Linux 64 bit 9 SP3
I have installed STAF on SUSE Linux 9 SP3 and while starting STAFProc
getting the following error:-
./STAFProc: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.6: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory
Does anyone have solution for this?
Thanks,
Joseph.
