The good news is FS COPY works fine today with 2.7G file. I am copying
from a Linux machine running staf 3.2.4. I forgot to capture the error
code when FS COPY failed yesterday. If I run into the problem again, I
will post to the mailing list. The failure could be some sort of
networking timeout.

Are you copying a 2G+ file to or from an AIX machine and if another
machine is involved, what version of STAF is it running? Both machines
must be running STAF V3.2.1 or later in order to copy a file of size 2G or
more.
Are you sure you have enough disk space available?
What is the exact FS COPY command that you are specifying and what is the
RC and error message that you're getting?

I am using STAF 3.2.5 for AIX and running STAF under root user which has
file limit set to -1. FS copy can't pass the 2GB limit.
Am I missing any pre-req?
