Yes, STAF 3.2.5 is stable. There were no changes made in the STAF trust
code. If you are getting RC 25 (Insufficient trust level), then the host
name of the machine submitting the request does not have the necessary
trust level. I suspect that you did not enter the correct host name in
your trust statement. This could occur if your TCP/IP configuration is
using dynamic IP addresses but don't use DNS so that you always have the
same host name (so matter what IP address is assigned to you). Note that
the host name that STAF uses for a machine can be seen by submitting the
following command on each machine:

STAF local VAR RESOLVE STRING {STAF/Config/Machine}
Response
--------
client1.austin.company.com

and is displayed when you start STAFProc. For example:

C:\>STAFProc

Machine : client1.austin.company.com
Machine nickname : client1.austin.company.com
Startup time : 20080429-14:16:54

STAFProc version 3.2.5 initialized

The latest version of STAX, 3.3.2, is also stable. I don't understand
what you mean by a STAX job waits for an enter. Can you provide more
information on what you mean?
Also, what operating system(s) are you using.

Subject: IS STAF 3.2.5 stable ?

I have STAF 3.2.5 on 2 machines. I have given trust level
5 on both the machines(STAF restarted after changing the STAF.CFG file).
Now when I try to copy files from one machines to another using the FS
Service, then STAF Says that Trust Level 4 required and it has only 3. If
I re-start STAF it works perfect. However it works fine sometime and
does-not work fine sometime

Is this a bug with STAF 3.2.5 ?? Please check and let us know.

DO anyone knows if STAF 3.2.5 is stable or not or please recommend the
version of STAF/STAX that is Stable and UP AND RUNNING PERFECTLTLY.

Also noticed that new STAF/STAX hangs sometime and while running the STAX
job it waits for an enter (but nothing should be expected and it should
run the Job ). Happens sometime and is ambiguous (not reproducible but
frequent occurance). Is the Latest STAF/STAX STABLE? Anyone tested/

Please recommend me the latest version to use which works fine
