We have seen this problem on some systems due to DNS/network issues. Note
that this really does not cause any problems; you can just restart
STAFProc.
The following bug has more information, including a possible workaround
(updating the "hosts" file):

Hello,
Once I configure the built-in TCP interface by adding the following line
in the STAF.cfg file:
interface tcp library STAFTCP
I get the following message when shutting down STAF:
20080504-17:22:22;5016;00000100;STAFTCPConnectionProviderStop - Timed out
waiting for run thread to wake up
What should I do to suppress this message?
