I have not seen that error. If you run "unset QIBM_JAVA_PASE_STARTUP", and restart STAFProc, does the problem still occur?
What version of AS400 are you running ("uname -a") and what is the output
of "java -version"?

I have installed the 32 bit version of STAF.
I am now getting this error
