Please provide the following information:
1) What version of STAF are you running on the "TO" machine (the
destination machine)?
STAF <toMachine> MISC VERSION
2) What version of STAF are you running on the "FROM" machine (the machine
where the file is being copied from)?
STAF <fromMachine> MISC VERSION
3) What is the output from the following (so that we can see information
about the file such as its sizes, etc):
STAF <fromMachine> FS QUERY ENTRY <fileName>
4) What is the exact FS COPY request that you are submitting?
5) Check the STAFProc output on the machine where STAFProc is crashing.
There should be additional information about the problem in the STAFProc
output. Note that you'll need to redirect STAFProc's output to a file so
that you can see this information after STAFProc has crashed. For example,
if Windows, you could start STAFProc and redirect its stdout to a file as
follows:
STAFProc > STAFProc.out
Please provide the exact error messages in the STAFProc output.

Subject: [staf-users] Does anyone know how or why STAF on the
destination server crashes?
Hi, I am trying to do a copy file from one machine to another using staf.
STAF (on the machine that the files is being copied TO) only seems to crash
when the destination machine OS is a Windows 2008 (it is 64 bit, not sure
if its relevant).
Thanks
