With revision #1239618 async processing is supported by all current enhancement
engines.
The EventJobManager also supports async enhancements based on the
org.osgi.service.event framework.
Note that if Engines are called asynchronously depends on the configured
enhancement chain and the used EnhancementJobManager implementation
