Rupert Westenthaler commented on STANBOL-512:
---------------------------------------------

Short Notice:

I have started to work on the Metadata -> Ontology mappings.
I plan to provide acivate/deactivate mappings for the following Ontologies:

* Ontology for Media Resources (http://www.w3.org/TR/mediaont-10/) : This will
be the most compete mapping to a single ontology as this W3C recommendtion
defines mappings for a lot of media related standards. However it will miss
some more specific information defined by EXIF, XMP, ID3 ...

* DC terms (http://dublincore.org/documents/dcmi-terms/): This will be used to
map all Dublin Core properties as well as some properties from other metadata
interfaces such as MSOffice.

* Nepomuk EXIF ontology
(http://www.semanticdesktop.org/ontologies/2007/05/10/nexif/): Used for a
complete mapping of the metadata defined in the TIFF interface

* Nepomuk Message Ontology
(http://www.semanticdesktop.org/ontologies/2007/03/22/nmo/): Used for a
complete mapping of the the Metadata defined in the Message interface

* Nepomuk ID3 Ontology
(http://www.semanticdesktop.org/ontologies/2007/05/10/nid3/): Used for a
complete mapping of the metadata extracted by the MP3Parser by using metadata
defined by the XMPDM interface. (needs more validation)

* SKOS (only labels and notes)

* RDFS (label and comment)
