Hi Suat,

looking at revision 1360144 I am asking myself what is happening if you try to 
call swap if one of the two cores does not exist. Or one of the two cores is 
managed but is currently not active. I think this functionality might still 
need a little bit more error handling.

Generally it looks good and it is definitely useful if you need to rebuild an 
index and you want users to allow to use the old wile the new one is not yet 
done!
