Currently the POST (form-multipart) service for sessions includes a form
parameter "scope", whose value indicates the ID of the scope to append.
However, there's no RESTful method for removing an appended scope.
It would be best also to make it possible for the HTML interface to select all
scopes to be appended at once (therefore automatically excluding all the
others).
