Hi David To me it seams that the mentioned attached "dbpedia_error.htm" is missing however I can imagine how it would look alike.
I completely agree that errors while the processing of a single Engine should not necessarily stop the whole enhancement process as it is the case right now. However if we allow the enhancement process to continue even after errors like that we would need to extend the enhancement structure to also allow the addition of enhancement metadata (e.g. a list of enhancement engine that processed the content, the resulting state of the processing, encountered warnings and errors). In fact there is already a JIRA issue - STANBOL-8 [1] - describing exactly this but up to now nobody has worked on it. best Rupert [1] https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/STANBOL-8 On Thu, Aug 4, 2011 at 8:26 AM, David Riccitelli <[email protected]> wrote: > This morning dbpedia is returning errors [1] confirmed by curl requests [2]. > Is there a way though to threat these errors as warnings and have the > general processing continued? > Thanks, > David > > [1] see attached file dbpedia_error.htm from stanbol, > [2] $ curl > "http://dbpedia.org/sparql?query=SELECT+DISTINCT+?id+%0AWHERE+%7B+%0A++%7B+%0A++++?id+%3Chttp://www.w3.org/2000/01/rdf-schema%23label%3E+?tmp1+.+%0A++++++?tmp1+bif:contains+'(%22United%22+AND+%22Nations%22)'+.+%0A%7D+%0A%7D+%0AORDER+BY+DESC+(+%3CLONG::IRI_RANK%3E+(?id)+)+%0ALIMIT+20+%0A&format=application/sparql-results%2Bjson" > Virtuoso S1T00 Error SR171: Transaction timed out SPARQL query: SELECT > DISTINCT ?id WHERE { { ?id <http://www.w3.org/2000/01/rdf-schema#label> > ?tmp1 . ?tmp1 bif:contains '("United" AND "Nations")' . } } ORDER BY DESC ( > <LONG::IRI_RANK> (?id) ) LIMIT 20 > > -- > David Riccitelli > ----- > Skype: ziodave > Twitter: @ziodave > LinkedIn: http://it.linkedin.com/in/riccitelli > ----- > Interact SpA > Via A.
