+1 provided that we clearly state in the Stanbol readme and docs that we are no longer supporting maven2 (otherwise we'll keep having to double-check)
what I'm not sure of is whether all common Linux distributions now provide maven3 out of the box. What about e.g. Ubuntu 10.4 (which is supported until 2013)?
* include windows builds (to check that utilities like the DataFileProvide do also function correctly on Systems running some Windows OS)
+1
* deploy SNAPSHOT builds on the Apache snapshot maven server (similar as Clerezza does). Retro was mentioning that this can be done by changing the Jenkins configuration accordingly.
What would be the effect? If someone sets up a project with Stanbol dependencies, will the artifacts be downloaded straight?
