Sam points Council to the still Draft "XMPP Compliance Suites 2020" and
requests it be fixed - Zash feels this should be an automatic thing, though
XEP-0001 states that happens upon advancing to Final (also, Draft lasts a
minimum of six months, which doesn't suit yearly Compliance Suites.) Sam
suggests they could be Informational instead, as they seem to define "best
practices for implementation or deployment of an existing protocol" - Zash
notes that, as it's defined in XEP-0001, it is up to Board. Zash suggests
poking someone to advance CS-2021 to Final, which will automatically Obsolete
CS-2020. Sam has no strong preference for Informational, but that seems
semantically correct, though the change to process isn't worth the paperwork.
Sam discovers that XEPs can be assigned expiration dates.

1) Roll Call
Present: Jonas, Zash, Daniel, Georg, Dave

2) Agenda Bashing
Jonas heard somewhere that something needs to done about CS-2020 still being
Draft, but isn't sure how to handle it - Sam suggests they be Obsoleted; Georg
suggests burning them with fire. Jonas will add a vote for Obsoleting, but
considers a CFE for CS-2021 would just be additional noise that nobody is
really interested in.

3) Editor's Update
* Proposed XMPP Extension: Pre-auth Registration Key Generation and Validation

4a) PR #1064 (XEP-0227: New revision 1.1) -
https://github.com/xsf/xeps/pull/1064
Jonas: +1
Daniel: +1
Georg: [on-list]
Zash: [on-list]
Dave: [pending]

4b) Deprecate and Obsolete XEP-0423 (XMPP Compliance Suites 2020) -
https://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0423.html
Jonas explains that the sacred process graph in XEP-0001 requires that a
Standards Track XEP first goes through Deprecated on its way to Obsolete.

Jonas: +1
Zash: +1
Daniel: +1
Georg: +1
Dave: [pending]

5) Pending Votes
Daniel dutifully votes on PR #1066: +1

6) Date of Next
2021-06-23 1500 UTC

Daniel might not be able to make it; Georg thinks he will make it.

7) AOB
Jonas makes note of the shiny new "Community Code of Conduct" (XEP-0458 [1]),
just in case anyone missed it, since it mentions Board and Council members
specifically, so it's probably worth reading and discussing; note that it's
still Experimental, not Active as some seem to believe.

8) Close
Thanks everyone, Tedd, Zash, Jonas, Georg, Zash.
