It doesn't sound stupid at all! Sorry I've not been around for around two weeks (it's been even more, I think). I've had my computer at the store where I bought it (the new one), because it had been hanging up again and again, and I couldn't figure out what was going on. It turned out to be that these folks at the store bent one of the pins when they installed the microprocessor, and now they won't give me a new one because they insist I should've taken it before (something difficult to do if you're not in town, and if your computer doesn't hang up regularly...) Anyway, I have to goget it today and see if they're willing to pay at least some of the new micro. If not, I'll have to get a new one (elsewhere) and talk to the people at AMD to see if they can give me a new one. And my old computer doesn't offer much of an backup in cases like this... I got it stuffed with M$ crap to take some work home and to do stuff for people who need ASP code. T_T Well, as soon as I have my Athlon back at home, I'll be back to coding again! See you all!
