It could be a solution to the heat problem, but then we would keep pumping CO2 into the atmosphere, which would increase ocean acidification, which would disrupt the ecosystem even more. Plankton in the ocean accounts for roughly 1/2 of the oxygen we breathe. My point is: this is a hard problem. The solution won't be simple.
