I am proud to announce that after taking in the reviews of many people and lots of foot work on the web, I am the now happy owner of the Epson Stylus Color 980 and Epson Perfection 1240 Scanner. These two items work together seemlessly. I can scan document and they print right out on the printer with no intervention. the hotkeys are great for setting applications up to the buttons to automate frequent tasks.. the scan image to email is perfect with outlook.. I can not say enough.. these two items are solid performers and the 980 is one very fast with excellent print when doing photos.. WOW !! And I just had to pick up a Samsung 753DF monitor.. talk about a flat screen with a .20 DPI.. this monitor is crisp, clean and with a 16 inch view.. excellent just excellent. So thank you to everyone that helped out in their own way with comments and feed back and experience with several products.. you helped me out a lot in making decisions that are perfect for me.
