Hello all,

I've got a StarMax 3000 machine. I've installed a Sony CRX-140E internal IDE
CD burner in the machine. iTunes doesn't want to work with it. It works fine
as a reader with the Toast CD Reader extension and the Apple CD/DVD driver
installed by iTunes. And it burns just fine from Toast 5.01. But iTunes,
after searching for CD Burners, reports "no supported CD recorders found"
(or something like that). The firmware on the drive is 1.0s. I'm going to
install it in my ADS Pyro case and see if iTunes supports it via Firewire on
my G4 later, but I thought I would ask you guys first if anyone has
encountered the same problem and found a solution.

TIA,

Dave Corder
