I happen to be a DIMM/RAM and Power Plug upgrade installation expert. Yes,
you can do add a 64 MB unbuffered 168-pin 3.3 volt 2K REFRESH dual-sided
chip to on of the dual banks, but fo' the love of Pete, make sure you are
using the right size chip and I don't just mean 168 pins. If the chip is too
"large" in other ways, it can effectively rip the cervix of your motherboard
causing a loose RAM socket and no more logic board (I think??). Try the Mac
Guru site (don't have the address here.....).......in other words BE CAREFUL
and hopefully a real expert will answer your question with less flair and
better information!
