I am still trying to phone help my son with his (my ex) 3000/200 MT with
a joeCard G3 OS 9.0.
It was fine in the evening and the next morning nothing but a blank
white screen and a cursor.
Is this the kind of symptom you would expect from a dead battery?
He has zapped the PRAM through 7 chimes, held down the Shift key, tried
booting from the original SM CD. Nada.
David's Desktop Starmax site has a great photo tutorial but for a
desktop. Does the entire board have to come out
to get to the battery? Thanks, George
