In both the desktop and the towers, it is hidden from view.  In the DT, one
can remove the floppy drive holder.

In the tower, all the connections need to be marked and/or written down (!!!),
on the top and front, the IDE and SCSI cables are removed, then take out the
screws holding the rear plate with the rear terminals and PCI cards in place,
and draw out the mother board about 6 inches. The battery will appear and can
be taken off its velcro mounting pad.

Make sure you reconnect everything as you found it. Don't force any thing; it
all used to fit fine.
