The original floppy drive started to give me trouble a year ago. Odd problem, at first it really did not like DOS disks and occasionally not Mac ones either. I ordered a floppy off ebay and it worked for a while but now is dysfunctional and seems to damage any floppy that is inserted. As a backup I have been using a USB floppy from my wife's Powerbook. Does anyone have a spare working floppy they would part with? I am willing to pay shipping and $10 for it if you want or maybe trade some excess SM parts. As an alternative, is there a way to clean, align, service these? Can there be software/driver issues that might be causing a problem? SM 4000 w/G3, OS 9.1
