I needed to change the same card which was in my machine for another that I had which had 10x and 100x stamped on it. I don't know which maker it is but unless it shows up as indicated by an "Ethernet" connection in the Apple Talk control panel it won't be recognized by the internal network. My DSL connection now works just fine. I hope that this helps.
