This Starmax 3000 has already had the powersupply replaced once under
Motorola's 5 year warrantee. Now that it's out of warrantee the power
supply has died again! I'm looking to replace it again unless someone
out there knows the cause of this problem. The machine is a bit "long
in the tooth" but I have a friend who's current Mac is even older
than this one. IF I can get this running again it would be a nice
present for him. Does anyone know anything about this ongoing power
supply problem with the 3000 series? If so, please let me know. Also,
if anyone knows what I can replace this power supply with I'd be very
grateful. This current powersupply is:

Delta Electronics Model DPS-200PB-59
H REV:01 47Hz-63Hz
INPUT 100-125V~/7A. 200-240V~ /4A.
OUTPUT +5V /20A. -5V 0.5A.
204.6W +3.3V&5V
TOTAL POWER 100W MAX

This machine has not really seen a lot of work so I'm a little
surprised at the breakdown, given it's lack of use. The original
owner has passed on and so this machine is intended as a gift if I
can get it up and running again.

I'll appreciate any advice that may come my way. Jim
