Just a quick thank you for everyone who suggested the battery
replacement for the Starmax 3000. So now I've replaced the battery
and pushed the "Cuda" Switch (fun trying to find it first!) and still
nothing is happening! Well, almost nothing.......I noticed that the
power supply fan IS running but very slowly. (not a good sign) The
front fan isn't working at all. No indicator lights come on when I
push the power button in the front of the unit. So, are we back to
the power supply??? IF so, what sort of price are we talking about??
I'm just trying to get this unit running to give it to a friend as a
gift. If it's going to become a climb up Mt. Everest I think I'll
pass and go play with my new Dual 533mzh G4!! I would appreciate any
suggestions anyone on the list may have......

                Regards, Jim
