Your SM is asking for part of Open Transport, Apple's networking software; do you need networking? If not maybe you can turn it off to avoid that error, or maybe this will help: http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=387&db=mac I got my son (just turned 12) and has my old SM, cable access for his birthday and so had to get an ethernet card and I went with this: http://eshop.macsales.com/Catalog_Item.cfm?ID=3217&Item=MACLNPCI100 He put it in himself and it works.
