I bought a USB floppy to use with my wife's Powerbook G4. I occasionally
use it with my SM when the internal one gets intermitently flakey. It is
not a bad idea to get one because it will be compatible with future Macs
via USB. I use mine to backup my Quicken file, my only not easily replaced
data file. I also have it on two hard disks and used to have it on my idisk
at .mac before they started charging. Lots of uses for floppys. My wife
teaches school and her classroom has Macs from a new emac through an LC
III. The super disk is an OK idea if you can get disks cheap enough. I find
the USB Zip alos works for transfering files I move the disks and the drive
from Mac to Mac.
